Backup Setup & Data Protection for Homes and Businesses
Automated, monitored and — crucially — tested backups for homes and businesses. The service that makes data recovery unnecessary.
Every data recovery job we take on represents a backup that did not exist or did not work. That is the honest framing of this service — it is the one that makes our most expensive service unnecessary, and we would rather sell you this.
The two failures we see constantly are simple. First, no backup at all: a family's entire photo archive, or a business's Tally database, on a single drive with no copy anywhere. Second, and almost as common, a backup that was configured once, stopped running months ago, and nobody noticed. An untested backup is not a backup — it is a hope. So we always test a restore in front of you before we call the job finished.
The technical detail, if you want it
A sensible backup follows the 3-2-1 principle: three copies of anything you cannot afford to lose, on two different types of media, with one copy off-site. It sounds elaborate but in practice it is straightforward — your working copy on the computer, an automated copy on an external drive, and a cloud sync for the folders that genuinely matter.
The off-site copy is the part most people skip, and it is the one that protects against the things a local drive cannot: theft, fire, flooding and ransomware. Ransomware in particular will encrypt any drive it can reach, including a permanently connected backup disk — which is exactly why an off-site or versioned copy matters rather than just a second local drive.
For businesses we add monitoring. A backup that fails silently is worse than no backup, because it creates false confidence. We configure alerts so you know within a day if a backup has stopped, and we test a full restore quarterly rather than assuming it works.
For households the setup is simpler but the principle is identical. An external drive with scheduled automatic backup, cloud sync for photos and documents, and a demonstrated restore so you have actually seen your files come back. It takes about half an hour and it removes an entire category of disaster from your life.
How we carry out this repair
Every stage is documented and you see photographs of the actual fault before you approve any work.
-
Step 01
What actually matters audit
We identify what genuinely cannot be lost — photos, documents, business databases, email — because backing up everything indiscriminately usually means backing up nothing reliably.
-
Step 02
Storage and media planning
The right external drive capacity, plus cloud storage sized for the folders that matter, chosen for your actual data volume rather than a guess.
-
Step 03
Automated local backup
Scheduled backup to an external drive with versioning, so you can go back to a file as it was last week, not only as it is now.
-
Step 04
Off-site or cloud copy
A second copy outside the building, which is what protects against theft, fire, flooding and ransomware.
-
Step 05
Ransomware resilience
Versioned and, where appropriate, disconnected copies so encryption of the live data cannot propagate to every backup you own.
-
Step 06
Monitoring and alerts
For business setups, alerts so a failed backup is noticed within a day rather than discovered during a crisis.
-
Step 07
Restore test in front of you
We restore actual files and open them with you watching. Until that has happened, we do not consider the job complete.
Options and prices
Where more than one approach solves your fault, we quote all of them and explain the trade-off. The cheapest option that genuinely works is always on the list.

Advice from our bench
Some of this reduces the amount of work we get. We would still rather you knew it.
Follow 3-2-1: three copies, two types of media, one off-site. It is the simplest rule that actually protects you.
Test a restore. A backup you have never restored from is a hope, not a plan.
A permanently connected backup drive is not safe from ransomware — it will encrypt that too. Versioned or off-site copies are what protect you.
Check your cloud storage quota. Silently full cloud storage is one of the most common causes of a backup that stopped working.
Photos and documents matter most and are usually the smallest. Start there if budget is limited.
For businesses, monitor the backup. Silent failure creates false confidence, which is worse than knowing you have none.

Customers who had this repair
“All our challan and Tally data was on one machine with no backup. They set up automatic backup with an offsite copy and then actually restored some files in front of me to prove it works. A month later the drive failed and we lost nothing. Best money we have spent on the office.”

“My Omen was shutting down mid-game and two shops told me the graphics card had failed. These guys measured the temperatures first, showed me the graph, and it turned out the heatsink was completely blocked. Full clean and repaste, temperatures dropped by around 20 degrees, and it has been stable for four months. They saved me from buying a card I did not need.”

“The service centre quoted me ₹16,500 for a new motherboard. I brought that quote here and they opened it under a microscope, photographed the burnt component and repaired it for ₹2,800. They also showed me why my charger was causing it. Three months on, no problems at all.”
