Why does it happen?
A Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) is Microsoft Windows' way of protecting itself from permanent damage. It happens when the system encounters a critical error it cannot recover from. This is most commonly caused by corrupted Windows updates, faulty RAM, a failing hard drive/SSD, or conflicting driver updates.
Will I lose my data?
Not necessarily. If you stop trying to forcefully reboot the machine, we can usually extract the hard drive, mount it on our secure data-recovery bench, and backup your files before we reinstall Windows or replace the failing hardware.
