An Independent Repair Workshop, Not a Parts Counter

What makes a workshop different from a shop

There are a great many places in this belt that will sell you a screen or a battery, and for those jobs they are perfectly adequate. What is genuinely scarce is a bench equipped to diagnose a fault down to the individual failed component — a stereo microscope, a hot-air rework station, a preheater to avoid thermal shock, a DC power analyser to read a board's current signature, a thermal camera, and boardview schematics for the specific board revision in front of us.

That distinction matters enormously to you, because it decides whether a fault costs ₹2,500 or ₹18,000. Most laptop board failures are one component — a charging IC, a MOSFET on a power rail, a shorted tantalum capacitor. A shop without the equipment to find that has only one option: declare the board faulty and quote a replacement. We find the component and replace it.

A meaningful share of our work arrives as a second opinion. Someone has a quote in hand for a board replacement, brings it to us, and leaves with a repair for a fraction of the price. We are happy to be that second opinion, and we do not charge for it.

What we will not do

We will not tell you a machine is beyond repair when it is not, and we will not tell you a repair is worth doing when it is not. Both cost us money in different ways and both are the right thing to do.

We will not fit a lower-resolution panel and hope you do not notice. We photograph the part number on your original panel and the replacement, and both appear on your invoice.

We will not sell you a battery without telling you its measured capacity. It is the easiest component in the whole machine to misrepresent, so we read the real figure from the battery controller and print it.

We will not open a machine on a customer's dining table and call it a proper repair. Software work, upgrades and network setup happen at your desk quite happily. A teardown needs a bench, static protection, magnification and the right tools.

And if Apple's own service programme covers your fault free of charge, we tell you — even though it means we do not get the job.

Why we cover four belts

Because the alternative for a lot of people here is travelling to Borivali or Andheri. Naigaon East, Bapane, Khaniwade, Tivri, Pachubandar — these are places with effectively no properly equipped repair capability within convenient reach, and small faults sit unattended for months until they become expensive ones.

So we run scheduled collection runs rather than waiting for people to come to us. Free pickup, free return, no minimum repair value and no distance surcharge. A customer in Pachubandar pays the same as one a kilometre from the bench.

How we price

Diagnosis is ₹350 and buys a full bench inspection, with collection and return free whether or not you proceed. Approve the repair and that ₹350 comes straight off your bill. The quote is itemised — part name, part grade, labour and warranty period listed separately — and sent to your phone in writing before any work begins. The price you approve is the price you pay.

In the uncommon case where a second fault is found underneath the first, most often on liquid damage, we stop, photograph it and get your approval before doing anything further. We do not present surprises on the invoice.

And where more than one approach solves your problem, we quote all of them. The cheapest option that genuinely works is always on the list, even when it is not the one that pays us best.
